This nature park is an incredibly popular place to visit in southwest Missouri. The park encompasses 10,000 acres and provide several great opportunities to enjoy nature including paved trails for biking and walking, trout fishing, horseback riding, Jeep tours, and Segway tours. While visiting, you will be able to enjoy waterfalls, caves, cattle, elk, and even bison. There is a great gift shop and dining options on site as well.

Ha Ha Tonka State Park

Ha Ha Tonka is a beloved attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks. The state park itself is a system of gorgeous trails, springs, lake views, and nature. The castle that gives the park its name was originally designed to evoke the stone castles in Europe. After several failed attempts to build it, including a tragic fire, the plans were abandoned and now the impressive, mysterious remains attract tourists from all over.
