Famous wineries in Hermann, Washington and Augusta include Stone Hill, Hermanhof, Adam Puchta, Augusta, Montelle, Mount Pleasant, Bias, and Robler. St. James boasts the award-wining St. James Winery. The Les Bourgeois Vineyard in Rocheport offers a beautiful view overlooking the Missouri River. The Ste. Genevieve area now boasts several wineries, including Charleville and Chaumette. New wineries in St. Charles, Jefferson City, and Weston add to Missouri’s diversity. Lesser-known wineries can be found throughout the state. The Inn on Crescent Lake is located near three wineries. FenceStile Vineyard and Four Horses and a Dog are situated on the outskirts of Excelsior Springs, while VanTill Family Farm and Vineyard is 20 minutes away in Rayville, Mo.

DeBourge Guesthouse is centrally located in the heart of Missouri wine country. Over 130 different wineries are located within an hour. Washington, MO is the perfect spot to start or finish a tour of many of our great wineries. Lake Creek winery is only five minutes away, and the wineries in Hermann are a quick 30-minute drive away. Amtrak also offers service to Hermann from Washington daily. The train departs late morning and a mid-afternoon return.

There are serveral Missouri wineries to visit in Branson: Curling Vine, Mt. Pleasant, and St. James are located in the same area and Lindwedel is a couple of miles north on 265. Buy a bottle to enjoy on the deck at White River Lodge.
